Ingredients:
1 whole Onion (medium)
Half of a medium Green Pepper
500g Chicken livers
2 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
1 whole Tomato
2 fresh Chillies (Or you can substitute with Dried crushed
chillies)
1 teaspoon Curry Powder
Salt to taste
½ Teaspoon of Thyme
½ Teaspoon Origanum
1 Teaspoon of Crushed Garlic
1 sachet of Tomato Paste
4-6 tablespoons of Mustard
4-6 tablespoons of Mustard
125ml Fresh Cream
Things to prepare before the time:-
Wash the chicken livers and look for greenish bits which you
must remove.
Chop onions and green peppers.
Grate Tomatoes.
Chop Chillis.
Method:
Sautee Onions and green pepper in olive oil. Once onions are
translucent add the Livers and make sure each side has been seared. Add salt, Curry
Powder, Thyme, Origanum and garlic while you sautee during this process. Once
done add Chillies, mustard and the grated tomato and tomato paste. Stir in and then finally
add the cream and simmer for 15-20mins.
Serve with Garlic Roll.
Tip, if the sauce is too thick, then pour in some fresh
milk.
